Notes from the meetings in Green

October 6, 2010.  Wednesday.  Room 109  7:30 AM

1. ACSI Convention (Sign up will be sent to those who volunteered)
2. Service Project (neighborhood meal ?, Mrs. Leigh? other ideas) (Three NHS We Care teams: Homeless Ministry (Meeker, Secrest, Safer), Tutoring (Smart), Lower Lights/Franklinton (Molly Landis)
3. Sr Trip (appoint a committee to work with Mr. Anglea, Mr. Burns and class officers) Everyone wanted to be a part of this, so I'll give Mr. Burns our list and tell him to have at it!  Membership was encouraged to talk to people who feel that they can't afford senior trip and have them talk to Mr. Anglea about scholarships
4. Officers were elected:  Pres. Andrew Nottingham, Vice Pres. Sam Willer, Secretary Lauren Koch
5. The idea of NHS Lecture Series was discussed.  Some expressed interest in the idea.  No action taken.

    Also, we decided to host a Red Cross blood drive.  January 25.  Erinn Houts is chair.
