	Wally and went to Lake Erie on Saturday.  He always amazes me with his Bass-catching abilities!  But, each time we fish together I get to feeling like I'm a little bit better at catching fish, and that someday I might become as good a Bass-catcher as he is. Ain't this a beauty?   June '11
	But, this trip, my self-esteem plumeted.  Wally showed that his true skill is catching sheep head . . . and sheep head . . . and more sheep head.  I'll NEVER be the sheep head fisherman Wally is!  This 30+incher may very well be the biggest that's ever been in the boat, see below for a whopper caught a few years ago that was 30" too.  We have decided that call them "Buckeye Redfish."  Sounds more exciting!!!  June '11

	Went to Lake Erie with two recent graduates of Worthington Chrisitan.  We should have said we were going on "Sheep Head Trip" because if we would have said that we would have had an unforgetable day . . . tons and tons of fish.  Plus, we were not bothered by those pesky walleyes or smallmouth bass even once!!!!!!  Here is a nice Fish Ohio Sheepie. 	See above.  This recent grad is heading out to the Marines in just a few day..  We are going to miss him and we will be praying for him every step of the way.  He caught some bigger sheep head on our "Sheep Head Trip" but this is the only pic.  I was hesitant to post a pic of a such a noble young man with such a lame fish . . . but I did!  June '11

	Took all my dad had to get this bad boy in the boat.  The fish bottomed out my 30 pound scales . . . must have been around 50 lbs.  4/09

	Bass Fishing on 3/7/09: lots of fish and lots of fun.  The Mrs. gave me a digital camera that will shoot underwater.  Stuck it under water while pulling in a bass, and got this pic.

	My friend Wally and I went Smallmouth Bass fishing on Lake Erie.  Well, I went fishing, Wally went catching.  He hung this one on my line when I was asleep just to make me feel good. 8/08
	Wally hung this four pounder on his own line, and it made HIM feel good.
	Then he got this FIVE pounder, and it made him feel great!!!!  The score that day Wally 7, Buzz 2.

	I took a couple of kids up to Lake Erie.  A good time was had by all on a lake that started off calm, then got a bit rough.  Here is a "first walleye ever."

	My friend (and realtor) John Jacobus lands and releases a Lake Erie smallmouth near Cranberry Creek.
	Took nephew to Lake Erie where he caught his first-ever walleye.
	Even though he is a veteran smallmouth fisherman, he was impressed by this  Lake Erie smallie . . . especially since it nearly pulled him out of the boat!

	This strange visitor showed up in our yard on June 30th.  It is called a Hummingbird Clearwing Moth.

	One's first Sheephead is always something to be proud of.  Not much to eat but full of a good fight.
	After the sheephead warm-up, she caught her first walleye . . . and many more followed during this exceptional day on the water.
	My friend Wally and I went to Lake Erie (4/25/07) and had a great day with the Smallies.  This is Wally's best-ever, and she weighed 6.5 lbs (actual weight).  The weather was rough, but the fishing good.  10 caught in 12'-14'  on dark green tubes and drop-shot-gobies

	1. My wife called and said "Are you having fun with Wally?"  I said "Yes, it's like watching fishing shows on Saturday.  Someone else catches all the fish, and they make it look so easy." Aug 06
Fishing Show	2. That gave me an idea.  I'll make a fishing show starring Wally!  Here's a video! (8.7 mg, so if you don't have high speed internet . . . fagetaboutit)
	3. The action did pick up, and I caught this very nice waterlogged tennis ball.  Carolina Rig.  12' deep.  Released.
	1. My son came home for a visit in July '06, and he hit it big on Lake Erie . . . 27" walleye.
	2. It was a great day on the water, and this Smallmouth made it even better.
	3. This 30" Sheepshead was a wild ride on 6 lbs line.  Thought it was a snag, then it moved!
	The Aqua View camera was great fun.  The water was clear.  Couldn't quite react fast enough to get the whole Sheephead.
	A Bass is just finishing the fight, and he'll live to fight again!

	This is Justin, one of my students.  He is holding his first-ever and second-ever Walleye . . .  caught during a July '06 trip to Lake Erie.

	I caught these two smallmouth bass (17" and 18") at the same time . . . using a two hook crappie rig.  Do I feel like an accomplished fisherman?  Nope, just more dumb luck.  I was fishing for crappies!
	On January 1, 2006 my good friend, and realtor for life John Jacobus landed the first FishOhio white crappie of the year . . . and he has the certificate to prove it.  Will he make Master Angler status this year?????  Answer:  No he didn't, but he did catch another FO crappie on Dec 31, 2006!
